Pain, anxiety and arrogance grew
as seed watered by
this heavy grim dark memories
a hot burning coal my lips held
memories only time can uproot
the scars behind the eyes are the
hardest to heal
but make no mistake
love is not two faced
so love shouldn’t hurt this much!
