DAY FOUR✨

Abuse wear different shades and shapes
some days his tight grip a necklace
choking the life out of her
his punches lullaby putting her to sleep
other days his words as stench
an invisible flame;
choking her mind
suffocating her
until she saw her worthiness
Only through his words
a drum of words to drown
a generation in whole
she drowned alone
Sometimes it was that hand
between her tired thighs
holding her will
satisfying his heated desires
I couldn’t say;
doing so will be tearing her wounds
so she bleed
